Web Design Process

After choosing your package and agreeing to the terms & conditions, please contact us to place your order. You will pay 50% of the design fee up front. Before we begin, we will schedule a phone call or online chat session to brainstorm and assess your brand and goals. We want to learn about you, your books, your readership, and what moods and themes define your overall approach to writing. These will be our guiding principles as we begin your website design. We can also offer guidance as to what your website will need in order to be successful.

After assessing your unique needs, we will hit the drawing board to sketch up a concept including color scheme and overall theme. Meanwhile, you will compile your own materials including images, bio, book synopses, and other necessary info that will go on your website. Once you've approved the direction of the design, we will go full steam into creating your website. We will likely be in frequent contact throughout the process; please be available to answer questions and provide necessary materials.

From the time we begin, the entire web design process takes about 4 weeks. At the end of it, you'll have the chance to approve the site and request final changes. When you're 100% happy, we will walk you through the final steps to launch your site, then hand over control of the site to you. This is when the second half of your fee is due, along with any incurred extra costs.
